Union Grove is a village in Racine County with a population of about 5000 people. At an initial meeting on June 12, 2017, a proposed breed discriminatory ban in the village was discussed. The room overflowed with people opposed to a ban, while only two people spoke in favor of the ban.
According to the Village Clerk-Treasurer Jill Kopp, the idea was quicklly dismissed because of a lack of interest in moving forward with the proposal. Read more in an article published on August 21 in The Journal Times by clicking here.
